Annual Spring Exhibition

Each spring, the club hosts an exhibition so our skaters can share their talents with family, friends, and the community. All club and associate members may choose to perform a program (solo, partnered, or group) in the exhibition.  Skaters from our Learn to Skate USA program who are registered for any session this season are eligible to participate in the LTS group number.

The exhibition is an excellent opportunity for skaters to display their skills, gain performance experience, and share their accomplishments with friends and loved ones. As our largest annual event, the exhibition raises awareness and funds for the Binghamton Figure Skating Club, a non-profit charitable organization. Most importantly, it's a lot of fun to participate in or to watch!

NOTICE of Cancellation: Our Exhibition scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2020, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at SUNY Broome Ice Center had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 situation. Governor Cuomo has issued orders limiting the size of gatherings in New York State, and the SUNY Broome CC administration has limited the size of gatherings on its campus to at most 50 external people. We would have exceeded that at our Exhibition, so it cannot take place until the limit is lifted.

We hope to have a replacement Exhibition in Fall 2020, so please check this website for future developments. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this difficult situation. Our main concern is for the health and safety of all participants and guests, so this cancellation seems most prudent.

Tickets will be $5 and can be purchased from club members or at the door.

Lion King Group Number Practice Times

There will be three off-ice practices and three on-ice practices for the LTS group number in the Spring 2020 Exhibition. All practices will be at the SUNY Broome Ice Center. For the on-ice practices, all skaters should come to the rink enough ahead of time to be ready to get on the ice at the start time.

OFF-ICE: Saturday, Feb. 15, 22, 29, at 8:00-9:30 AM.

ON-ICE: Sunday, March 1, 8, 15, at 1:00-2:00 PM, and Thursday, March 19 at 5:30-6:30 PM.

NOTICE: There will be no on-ice practices on March 15, 19, 22, since the Exhibition has been cancelled.

Program Sponsorships

There are two ways to provide a program sponsorship: business ads (which include tickets to the show), and happy ads. To promote your business simply fill out the BFSC_Exhibition_Business_Ad_Form and return it to the Binghamton Figure Skating Club. To send best wishes or congratulations to a particular skater, fill out the BFSC_Exhibition_Happy_Ad_Form_2020 and return it to the Club by mail or in person at the rink. Thanks for your support!

Skaters! It would be great if you could share the business ad  form with your dentist, doctor's office, hairdresser, or other local businesses. If you help secure a sponsorship, you may receive a discount on the fee for performing in the group number!
